New StuffItem 1:The Church of Scientific Humanism Website is brand new. We've worked hard to make it informative, but not dull; interesting, but not boring. We've tried to explain complex ideas and relationships by using colorful symbols and simple metaphors. We hope that you enjoyed the website of the Church of Scientific Humanism. We ask you to join us. If you have not already done so, please peruse our Membership forum and become a member of the Church of Scientific Humanism.
Item 2:The seminal work that began the Church of Scientific Humanism was God Fraud. The intent of God Fraud was twofold: to destroy the myths, magic and make believe of the world's great religions; to provide a foundation for a religion based upon human thoughts, rationale and experience. I succeeded in both of these objectives by introducing the new religion of Scientific Humanism. Now, I must explain the religion of Scientific Humanism. This website is a beginning. However, it can not go into the detail necessary to understand the principles and effects of this new and different vision of religion. I have begun a new book, tentatively titled, Bible of Scientific Humanism, to delve into the intricacies of the Three Aspects, Three Precepts, the Triangle of Spiritual Force and the Circles of Human Life. Not only will I look at the individual's struggle to achieve Balance, Harmony and Fulfillment, I will also explore these same processes within groups, societies and civilizations. I'm not sure when it'll be ready. I am hoping to be done by spring of 2003. In the meantime, please contact me with questions, ideas and thoughts. They'll all be helpful in writing a book that is clear and cogent. Item 3:We will begin an E-Mail blitz to announce the establishment of the Church of Scientific Humanism. You will be contacted by E-Mail. We ask you to help us spread the word to your friends, family and colleagues. There's a new religion in town. It makes sense. It doesn't ask you to do dumb things, or make believe things that aren't true. Instead, it asks everyone to make this a better world. Scientific Humanism is a religion you can live with.
